He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Cooper and Nette Cooper; and his brother Franklin Ned Cooper. He is survived by: his wife Judy Sheffield Cooper; his children, Ron Cooper (Nita) and Cheri Garris (Jeff); his sister Peggy Fuller (Charles); his sisters-in-law, Ruth Cooper and Julia Lindsay; his grandchildren, Claudia Cooper-Hicks (Ashlee), Max VanMeter, Zack Hitchcock (Meghan) and Kenlee Hitchcock; and his great grandchildren, Addy, Rhett, Demi and Mayzlee. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
