With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rita Carol Mason of Powder Springs, Georgia, born in Austell, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 22, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Luther Mason and Carrie Mae Queen Mason; her brother Robert Mason; and her friend Joan McGarity. She is survived by: her son Matt Mason (Brooke); her grandchildren, Elle Mason and MJ Mason; her sisters, Diane Lamb (Dave), Dollie Ledford and Paulette Mason; and her nieces and nephews, Melessia, John Croker, Lori, Tony Cole, Carla, Ethon Harper, Amanda Bridgers, Josh, Suzanne Mason, David and Sarah Lamb.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Benson Funeral Home (309 Hardee St, Dallas, GA 30132). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
