He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Phillips and Edna Mae Phillips; his sister Sandra Phelps; and his grandson Jeffrey Vining. He is survived by: his wife Joellyn Phillips; his daughters, Patricia Carter (Brent) and Kristen Vining; his grandchildren, Jessica Ludeman, Phillip Sangster (Kelly), Joshua Vining and Remington Carter; and his great grandchildren, Wesley, Carson-Lee, Fisher and William. He is also survived by nephew and many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Leslie's memory to First Baptist Church of Powder Springs to either the benevolence or mission funds.
