He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Grider of Hiram; his children, John David Grider, Jr. and Terri Grider Hammond (Bill) of Crawford, GA.; his grandchildren, John David Grider III, Grace Grider, Lola Hammond and Sissy Hammond; and his nephew John William Shirley.
