With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jo Ann Plunkett of Powder Springs, Georgia, born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on October 7, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Tate Carter and Florence Clark Carter; and her husband Wayne Plunkett. She is survived by: her children, Rodney Wayne Plunkett (Freida) and Kristi Plunkett; her grandchildren, Chris Stokes, Rodney Wayne Plunkett Jr. (Alexa), Sydney Blackford and Bailey Blackford; and her great grandchildren, Mason Taylor, Leland Smith and Ryder Emerson. She is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
