With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janis Rae (Earing) Jernigan of Powder Springs, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 22, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Janis Rae shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Janis Rae farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Raymond Earing and Winnifred Earing; her husband Gene Jernigan; her sons, Jeff Jernigan (Jill) of Powder Springs, GA, Rob Jernigan (Robyn) of McMinnville, TN and Doug Jernigan (Nikki) of Leesburg, GA; and her siblings, Jere Bowden of Athens, GA and Micheal Earing of Lawrenceville, GA.. She was also cherished by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
