He was predeceased by: his wife Sylvia Charlotte Stocks Smith; and his parents, Harold Smith Sr. and Lila Bernice Austin Smith. He is survived by: his children, Lynn Cagle (Keith), Lea Holloway (Chris) and Scott Smith; and his grandchildren, Erin Lyda, Kris Chandler, Jody Stephens, Kaylie Griswell, Alicia Dunagan and Kerry Gentry. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
