He was predeceased by: his parents, William Leslie Ott and Rena Betty Proctor Ott; his grandson Alexander Shawn Collins; and his siblings, William Henry Ott and Betty Faye Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Alicia Ott; his children, Glenda Ott, Laura Collins (Shawn) and Lara Stiles (Mike); and his grandchildren, Eden Brown (Josh), Erin Sarratt (Scott), Kori Wright (Landon) and Kourtney Stiles. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
