We are sad to announce that on January 20, 2025, at the age of 81, Edward E. Hoekstra of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Edward leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Edward may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy. He is survived by: his daughters, Michele Rakestraw, Denise Hoekstra and Heather Tierney; and his grandchildren, Laura Rakestraw, Amber Rakestraw, River Tierney and Jozy Tierney.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Powder Springs Memorial Gardens (Powder Springs Memorial Gdn, Powder Springs, GA 30127).
