She was predeceased by: her parents, Thaddeus Felton Lewis and Tinnie Etta Hite Lewis; her husband Floyd Garrett, Jr.; and her siblings, Catherine Verhine, Clarence Lewis, Christine Pittman and Carl Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, Tinnie Jean Petraroli (Steve), Susie Ware (Jim), Ricky Garrett (Candice) and James Charles Garrett (Stephanie); and her siblings, Clifford Lewis, Charles Lewis and Carolyn Pauley. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Crossroads Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Crossroad Baptist Church.
