He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Lane Ridings and Edna "Edna Bell" Holcomb Ridings. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Gaddis Ridings; his children, Joe Ridings (Danita), Chris Ridings (Rosa), Renee Buchanan (Dennis), Larry Cagle, Garry Cagle (Yazmin) and Mark Cagle (Kathy); his grandchildren, Dan Cagle, Seth Cagle (Chloe), Courtney Ridings (Michael), Tiffany Ridings, Taylor Ridings (Sarah) and Mason Ridings (Taylor); and his pet Marley. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren, numerous cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital which was near and dear to Ben.
