With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Bridges Dubois of Poulan, Georgia, born in Colquitt, Georgia, who passed away on June 3, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Realous Lynn and Mattie Jo Durham Bridges; her husband Clifford B. DuBois; her sons, Leo and Donald DuBois; and her sisters, Lucille Welch and Lois Godbolt.
She is survived by: her son Ronald DuBois (Shirley) of Poulan; and her grandchildren, Kelly Sterling, Jamie Green, Trudy Valenzuela, Lori DuBois, Stephanie DuBois and Melissa DuBois. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren.
