She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Huggins and Ludie Vandora Huggins; her husband Eugene Nelms; her son Danny Nelms; and her grandson Scott Nelms.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby Nelms of Poulan and Jenny Granberry (Dowling) of Tifton; her daughter-in-law Becky Nelms of Poulan; and her grandchildren, Warren Nelms (Cara), Dustin Nelms (Gina), Tearston Adams (Casey), Ady Granberry and Melanie Davis. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
