It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Charles Powell (Poulan, Georgia), born in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 29, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Lillian Fuller and Edward Powell, Sr.; and his brother David George Powell. He is survived by: his wife Diane Powell; his son Robert Charles Powell; his stepson Brent Michaels; his siblings, Edward Powell (Cathy), Joseph Powell (Cindy), Cathy Tripp (Mike), Christine Kelley (Terry) and Diane Singletary (William); his grandchildren, Stephanie, Justin, Sarah, Olivia and Hope; his stepbrothers, Ronnie Edmondson, Rusty Edmondson, Herbie Edmondson and Doug Edmondson; his half-brother Ed Edmondson; and his pet Tater. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
