We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2024 we had to say goodbye to George W. Turner Jr. of Portal, Georgia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Turner Sr. and Mary Fields Turner; his sister Matilou McKee; and his brother-in-law Vernon McKee. He is survived by: his wife Frances Brown Turner; his daughters, Robyn Prebenda (Brian) of Orlando, FL, Julie Sutton (Trey) of Richmond, VA and Lisa Turner of Marietta, GA; and his grandchildren, Tyler, Logan and Ally Prebenda. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He ran the business until the age of 95 and only stopped then because of complications from COVID.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church of Portal, P.O. Box 477, Portal, GA 30450.
