He is survived by: his children, Marie McDermott (Jason) and William Oglesby, III; his grandchildren, Kaleigh McDermott and Walden McDermott; and his siblings, Sally Shore (Charles) and David Oglesby. He is also survived by his wife, children and grandchildren.
