He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara Bragg Snipes; his children, Tony Trist (Renee) and Kristy Ward (Michael); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Matthew, Abby, Ryan, Naomi, Griffin, Grady, Teresa, Allison and Elizabeth Grace; and his sisters, Sammie Ruffing (Richard) and Elizabeth "Liz" Sharpe. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
