It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Wilbur Dumas of Port Wentworth, Georgia, who passed away on April 30, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Effie Bachelor and James Denton Dumas; his wife Pollie E. Dumas; and his brothers, Roy and Troy.
He is survived by: his children, Evelyn Kessler (Jud), Kenny Dumas (Sue) and David Dumas (Pam); his grandchildren, Gerald Kessler (Amanda), Kristi Taylor, Walter Dumas (Lauren), Lauren Hollar (Aaron) and Lyndsay Smith (Chad); his great grandchildren, Gerald Tyler Kessler (Taylor), Ashtian Kessler, Blade, Aidan Taylor, Erin, Wyatt Dumas, Henson Smith, Blake and Blair Hollar; and his great great grandchild Addisyn Kessler. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
