He was predeceased by: his parent William Chant. He is survived by: his parent Mary Carter Chant; his son Timmy Chant (Becky Montella Chant); his brother Johnny Chant; and his stepchildren, Angie Horne (Christy), Rachael Aho (Milo), Julie Horne (Jeremy) and Walter "Bubba" Howell (Amber).
