She was predeceased by: her parents, Solan Jones and Thelma Rizer Jones; her husband James Turner; and her sisters, Montez Jones and Shirley Butler.

She is survived by: her children, Patricia A. Garcia, Bobby W. Casteel, Pamela A. Roberts, Tammy E. Brubaker, Paul Casteel and Penny Martin; and her brother Billy Jones. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
