He was predeceased by: his wife Cathleen Johns Kahlich; his parents, Arthur Kahlich and Frances Kahlich; and his siblings, Junell Schilling, JeAnn Foerster and William Earl Kahlich.
He is survived by: his siblings, Janice Kitten and Robert Kahlich; and his brother-in-law H. D. "Dusty" Pike. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
