Gwynn S. Scott Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gwynn S. Scott of Port Wentworth, Georgia, who passed away on October 23, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. E. Scott and Wessie Sullivan Scott; his stepmother Debby Scott; his siblings, Peggy Scott Hagan, Jean Nease and Joann Hamilton; his grandmother Nora Louise Hiott; his brothers-in-law, Roy Ulmer and Jack McCreery; and his pet Haley.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ulmer Scott "Patsy"; his children, Teresa A. Scott, Mike Scott (Linda), Keith Scott (Barbara) and Craig Scott; his grandchildren, Brianne Walters (Scott), Brandi Reyes (Craig), Ash Scott (Rebecca), Dylan Scott (Diana), Michelle Finch Mincey (Lehman) and Hunter Scott; his great grandchildren, Anaston Kersey, Kaydence Reyes, Aiden Reyes and Olivia; and his sister-in-law Gloria Ulmer McCreery. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, Effingham Chapel (2460 GA-21, Rincon, GA 31326). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens (315 Greenwich Rd, Savannah, GA 31404).
