Cleatis left this world on February 17, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pratt Adams Harvey and Bessie Hall Harvey; his former wife Doris Boykin Harvey; and his wife Vivian Rainey Harvey. He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Swindell (Roger) of Brunswick, GA and Sandra Gross of Marietta, GA; his siblings, Gladys Youngblood of Garden City, GA and Herman Harvey (Nena) of Waycross, GA; his grandchildren, Stephanie Wegman (Randall), Richard D. Martin, Jr., Crystal Gross, Amy Swindell Suiter (Corey) and Lacie Richardson (Tony); his nephew Richard Youngblood, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Tyler Nunn (Meghan), Payton Nunn (Jeremy), Hunter Nunn (Jill), Austin Wegman, Harper, Finley, Karson, Brooklyn, Declan and Colton; and his great great grandchildren, Laurel, Gwen, Kagen, Kaiser, Hudson, Kenny and Kane.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel (2794 US-80, Garden City, GA 31408). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens (315 Greenwich Rd, Savannah, GA 31404).
