It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Harvey Whitten of Pooler, Georgia, born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on December 18, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Whitten and Elsie Whitten. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Whitten of Midway; his sons, William Whitten, Jr. (Rochell) and Christopher Adam Whitten of Midway; his stepchildren, Bobby Myers (Donna) of Ellabell and Denise Powell (Ronnie) of Jesup; and his siblings, Reba Cail (Ron) of Faulkville, Harriet Reed (Chester) of Colorado Springs, Ruby Johnson, Gerald Whitten (Joy) of Colorado Springs, John Whitten (Connie) of Springfield, Ray Whitten of Savannah, Charles Whitten (Ann Marie) of Savannah and Kenny Whitten (Elizabeth) of Springfield. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
