She was predeceased by: her father Joseph Franklin Maye; and her brother Michael Maye. She is survived by: her husband Phillip M. Newman; her daughters, Linda Atkins and Lynn Ferrelli; her grandchildren, Kyle Bieber (Haley) and Riley Ferrelli; and her brother Allen Maye (Martha). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers remembrances may be given to the Hospice organization of the donor's choice.
