He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Hunter, Sr. and Edith Bowman Hunter; and his siblings, Crystal Hunter Flathman and John H. Hunter. He is survived by: his wife Angela Bess Hunter; his daughter Jamey Hunter Dupuy; his grandchildren, Terry Lee Wilkes, III, Ella Ann Dupuy and Robert "Bobby" Delapasse Dupuy; his great grandchild Cas John Dupuy; his brothers, Thomas Hunter (Carole) and Gregory Hunter (Leesa); and his siblings-in-law, Audrey Overstreet (Mark), Jean Hunter, Weldon "Butch" Parker, Jr. (Emmie) and John Parker (Beth). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
