He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Jett and Annie Mae Bland; his sister Annette Baker; and his son Robert Jett Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Lucretia Robertson Jett; his children, Melvina Jett Washington (Brian), Ramir Jett, Imari Addison, Randy Cooper (Natalia) and Jordan Addison (Kozue); his sisters, Linda Hunter and Francette Lindsey; and his brothers-in-law, Andrew Robinson, Jr. (Shawn) and Michael Robertson. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and lifelong friends.
