He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert S. Dotson, Sr. and Doris Greene Dotson; his wife Mary Ruth Youmans Dotson; and his son Jeffrey Dotson. He is survived by: his son Richard Dotson, Jr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
