She was predeceased by: her husband James L. Spilliards; her parents, Joseph Smith and Gladys Bell Smith Youngblood; and her sisters, Elizabeth Williams (Betty) and Josephine Kauffman.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy (Nancy), Steve (Libby) and Denise Kessler (Brown); her granddaughters, Leta Virant (Tom) and Emily Patel (Sagar); her great grandchildren, Caden and Cooper Virant; and her brother-in-law Marvin Spilliards. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be given to Hospice Savannah, 1352 Eisenhower Drive, Savannah, GA 31406 or Woodlawn Baptist Church, 407 Talmadge Ave., Garden City, GA 31408.
