She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gattman and Lula Morris Gattman; her husband Joseph E. Hinely, Jr.; and her siblings, Edna Berry and William Gattman, Jr. (Buddy).

She is survived by: her sister Peggy Findley; and her children, Joseph E. Hinely, III (late Bethany), Frances Hinely Overstreet (William) and Thomas Hinely. She is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
