It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wiley Riner Sr. of Pooler, Georgia, born in Garfield, Georgia, who passed away on March 9, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Riner and Madie Lamb Riner; and his siblings, Willene Calhoun and Leamon Riner. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hill Riner of Pooler, Georgia; his children, Marsha Petrea (Charlie) of Smyrna, Georgia and John W. Riner, Jr. (Crystal) of Pooler, Georgia; his grandchildren, Will Petrea (Jenny) of Dallas, Haley Screen of Savannah, Georgia and Kensley Screen of Savannah, Georgia; and his sister-in-law Connie Riner (Georgia) of Sylvania. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
