He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Shinn, Sr. and Clydie Mae Payne Shinn. He is survived by: his wife Leslie Clifton Shinn; his children, Jessica Price (John), Jarrod Shinn, Morgan Shinn and Anna Shinn; his sister Sherie Shinn Cantley; his niece Melissa Cantley Achuff (Mark); his nephew Ryan Cantley (Alison); and his uncles, Donald Payne and Jerry Payne. He is also survived by many cousins, great nieces and nephews.
