We are sad to announce that on March 22, 2025, Herbert Jasper Fordham of Pooler, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Herbert Jasper shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Herbert Jasper farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Fordham and Bertha Akins Fordham; his sister Ruth Fordham Eitel; and his brother-in-law J. B. Eitel, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Marsha Fordham Varnadoe; and his granddaughter Devin A. Varnadoe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Homes – West Chatham Chapel (901 US-80, Pooler, GA 31322). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Homes – West Chatham Chapel (901 US-80, Pooler, GA 31322).
