He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Edgar and Deser Lee Doctor Generette; his son Ameer; and his siblings, Harry, Joe, Chris, Dan Generette, Irma Jane Hayes and Anne Hooper.
He is survived by: his children, Anthony Bernard Generette (Gabriella), Miriam Denise Jackson (Karya) and Sakinah L. Generette; the mother of his children Yvonne Bryant; his children, Marcus, Tyrone and Unece Martin; his grandchildren, Ameer Generette, Lauren Jackson and Isabella Generette; his siblings, Gene Lester Generette (Dorothy), Mannie Generette, Marlene Ladson, Barbara Generette and Sylvia Generette; and his friends, Travis and Josetta Gordon. He is also survived by great-grands, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In 2020, when the Covid-19 pandemic hit, his travels were greatly limited, and his health soon began to decline.
