He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Capers Hiott (Mary Louise Watkins Hiott) and James Marvin Hiott. He is survived by: his daughter Hidie Nowell (Trey); his former wife Janet Hiott; his granddaughters, Kayla Berry, Ava Nuttall, Abbegail Nowell and Isabel Nowell; and his siblings, Edward Hiott (Matty) and Libby Smith (Steve). He is also survived by his daughter and granddaughters.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Homes – West Chatham Chapel (901 US-80, Pooler, GA 31322).
