He was predeceased by: his parents, David L. Stanford and Annie B. Wise Stanford; and his wife Anita Hurst Stanford. He is survived by: his sons, David Austin Stanford, Jr. (Debbie) and Kevin Lucas Stanford (Carol); his grandchildren, Nathan Stanford (Kate), Kevin Stanford, Jr. (Becky), Natalie Downey, Emily Stanford, Kristin Stanford and Kerry Stanford; and his brother Otis Stanford. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
