She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Brannen and Ida Ellis Brannen; and her siblings, Wallace, Clyde, Callie, Mamie, Billy and Jessie.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Vancine Jones of Vidalia; her brother Eugene Brannen of Guyton; her husband Edwin Wayne Johnson; and her daughters, Robin Johnson Bryant and Kimberly Johnson Melvin (James).
