She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Bess and Nancy Everett; her husband Willie Earl Shipes; her daughter Midge Wynn; her son-in-law Wendell Wynn; her granddaughter Alicia Driggers; and also Jody Driggers.
She is survived by: her daughter Patty Whiting; her son-in-law Travis Whiting; and also James Lewis Devine. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and their spouses, Danny & Carol Wynn, Dennis & Sandi Wynn, Ashley Whiting, Shaun Whiting and Jordan Whiting; 10 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren.
