He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Franklin and Nettie Carden Espy. He is survived by: his wife Edith Espy of Plainville, GA; his stepchildren, Billy (Patricia Edwards) and Cathy Irene Wigley; his siblings, William (Frances Espy), Mike (Pat Espy), Willene Minutole and Shirley (Bob Nadean); and his grandchildren, Brandon, Aiden, Jazlyn and Joseph. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
