He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearley Chastain Sr. and Mable Forster Chastain; and his wife Jean Duryberry. He is survived by: his children, Laurie Logsdon (Brian) of Kentucky, Karen Winfield (Don) of Lafayette and Keith Chastain of Plainville; and his sister Margaret Drake. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
