He was predeceased by: his parent Walker Barber; and his brother-in-law Paul Williams. He is survived by: his parent Mary Hamer Barber; his spouse Linda Garland Barber; his son Eric M. Barber; his daughter-in-law Ami Barber; his grandchildren, Jack and Addie Barber; his siblings, Faye B. Williams and John Barber; and his sister-in-law Trudy Barber. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
