It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Franklin Tippens (Plainville, Georgia), born in Calhoun, Georgia, who passed away on June 20, 2018, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Clinton Sharp. He is survived by: his wife Gail Tippens of Plainville; his sister Janice Newton (George) of Adairsville; his mother-in-law Loudine Sharp of Plainville; and his siblings-in-law, Wyatt Sharp (Barbara) and Rita Sharp of Plainville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
