It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Floyd Franklin Gentry Sr. (Plainville, Georgia), born in Rome, Georgia, who passed away on April 23, 2019, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Gentry and Lillie Carroll Gentry; his grandson Joey Gravitte; and his siblings, Edward Gentry, Sandra Stroud and Sue Kinsey.

He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Sandy Hefner (Daryle), Shelly Wells (Ronnie) and Calhoun. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
