It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Talmadge Sewell of Plainville, Georgia, who passed away on October 1, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Sewell and Hester Haney Sewell; and his brothers, Aleck Sewell, Pat Sewell and James Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Melba Fuller Sewell; his sons, Sidney Sewell of Calhoun, GA and Wayne Sewell of Plainville, GA; his grandchildren, Ethan Sewell, Ellie Sewell and Easton Sewell; his siblings, Clara Hicks, Agnes Freeman (Herman), Marie Cochran (Ricky), Dyan Nelson (Steve) and Max Sewell (Joyce); and his sisters-in-law, Pearlie Fuller, Martha Sewell and Evelyn Sewell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
