She was predeceased by: her husband LaVon Long; her parents, Marion Davis and Annie Mae Pilcher Burnette; and her brothers, Bobby and Coleman.

She is survived by: her son Andy Long of Plainville; and her siblings, Norma Jackson of Dalton, Betty Collins (Robert) of Calhoun, Wanda Simpson (Steve) of Wayne City, IL, Thera Kinney of Eton, David Burnette (Rilla) of Calhoun, Kenneth Burnette (Juanita) of Dalton, Winfred Burnette (Dimple) of Dalton, Nathan Burnette (Donna) of Dalton and Clay Burnette of Columbia, SC.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces.
