He was predeceased by: his parents, George T. Rhodes and Doris Davidson Rhodes; and his siblings, Geneva Marshall (Carl), Joyce Powers (James) and Royce Rhodes.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley H. Rhodes of Pitts; his children, Ritchie Rhodes (Marcy) of Cordele and Rhonda McDuffie (Robbie) of Perry; his grandson Daniel Owens (Amy); his great grandchildren, Ava of Cordele and Autumn Owens of Cordele; his granddaughter Heather Smith (Campell); his great grandchild Norah Smith; his grandchildren, Nicholas Owens (Heather) of Nashville, Tenn, Abigail Owens of Perry, Will Rhodes of Cordele, Kate Rhodes of Cordele, Dylan McDuffie and Ryan McDuffie of Perry; and his sister-in-law Jamie Sue Rhodes of Pitts. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
