He was predeceased by: his parents, Billie Monroe Watson and Naomi Wade Watson; and his siblings, James M. "Bo" Watson and Bernice Watson Hance. He is survived by: his wife Beth M. Watson of Pitts; and his siblings-in-law, L. V. McClain (Shirley) of Adel, Charles W. McClain (Linda) of Adel, Howard McClain (Carolyn) of Adel, Gus Hance of Pineview and Wilma Jane Watson of Boaz. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Pleasant View Baptist Church Building Fund.
