With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy D. Martin of Pitts, Georgia, who passed away on February 26, 2021 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Peggy D. Martin to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Morris Mashburn and Benny Jewell McKinney Mashburn; and her daughter Dawn McCullough (John) of Woodbine. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Martin of Pitts; her children, George Woods (Cathy) of Chula and Cindy Vardeman (David) of Lake Park; her stepdaughters, Julie Newman (Adam) of Cordele and Laura Goff of Tifton; her siblings, Bob Mashburn (Pixie) of Pineview and Kay Fisher (Bill) of Palm Beach, Fla.; and her grandchildren, Dylan Brown, Caleigh McCullough, Logan Woods, Ashlyn Woods, Gage Hall, Meagan Haghshenas, Leigh Walker, Grace Force, Halle Newman and Ansley Newman. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, and several special nieces and nephews.
