He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin C. Brown and Annie Sweat Brown; and his siblings, Harold Sweat, Josephine Holt, Paulene Powers and Maxine Taylor.

He is survived by: his sons, Marvin Brown, Jody Brown (Chandrea) of Cordele and Clint Brown of Oregon; his grandchildren, Ashley Greene (Cody), Justin Brown (Melissa), Jake Brown (Jordan), Rush Brown, Savannah Brown, Madison Brown and Allie Brown; and his great grandchildren, Tripp Anderson, Jones Greene, Ridge Greene, Jameson Brown and Clarence Judd Brown.
