With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marty D. Ledford of Pitts, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 12, 2025 at the age of 56. He was predeceased by: his mother Edna Dooly Ledford; his sister Tammy Schmahl; and his brother-in-law Darrell Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Stacey W. Ledford; his son Marty Ledford, Jr. (DJ); his stepsons, Chase Worley (Rachel), Derek Lee (Ahjaina) and Duane Lee (Tiffany); his father George W. Ledford; his siblings, Michael Ledford (Missy), Patrick Ledford (Donna), Robin Fuller, Cindy Middlebrooks (Stuart) and Tracy Brooks; his brother-in-law Jay Schmahl; his parents-in-law, Melvin and June Wilkerson; his sister-in-law Melanie Gagliano; and his grandchildren, Wyatt Ledford, Oliver Worley, Margaret Worley and Gemma Worley.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Frazier and Son Funeral Home (1016 4th Ave, Rochelle, GA 31079). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the M. G. Frazier Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home (1016 4th Ave, Rochelle, GA 31079). A burial was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Salem Cemetery (1018 Salem Church Rd, Rochelle, GA 31079).
